This project will 1) produce scholarly research including two handbooks, one in Hungarian and one in English, about the global resettlement of the post-1956 Hungarian refugees; 2) prepare an online bibliography of primary and secondary materials, including documents, photographs, memoirs, and oral histories, related to the process, experience, and reception of the post-1956 refugees; 3) provide a searchable database that includes names and destinations of these refugees; and also 4) present database information in graphical forms (tables, infographics, and interactive maps).
